What specifically are you building?
Nostr clients and libraries, Bitcoin (lightning) powered apps etc. Everything we build is FOSS. In the future, we will explore covenants on Bitcoin, scalability solutions like the Mercury Layer, ecash like Cashu and anything that we think can empower individuals. We will also explore integrating more private messaging solutions like the SMP and XFTP protocols used by SimpleX Chat with nostr. Ultimately what we build is still an open ended question.
Who is behind Unsigned Labs?
I, Basanta Goswami, started this initiative. But there are a bunch of other guys that are helping me behind the scenes, and without them, Unsigned doesn’t exist. I will list them in this site once they are comfortable with being named.
How can I contribute to your projects?
Read our blog post on ideas, join an existing conversation or start a new one about some topic on our Discord server, or contribute to one of the repositories on our GitHub organization. We will be using WordPress for this site, Discord for discussions, and GitHub for code collaboration, till we have good alternatives to them built on nostr.
Is Unsigned Labs a company?
No. Not yet at least. Companies are just one of the ways people can come together to solve problems or provide services. But companies work as extensions of the nation state, and that is something that we believe is not necessary. One alternative could be NOSTROCKET, or something else that we ourselves build. We are open to ideas.
